Christmas Tree Sketch Pencil Drawing

Hey guys, have you ever seen a Christmas tree that looks like a pen? No? Well, neither had I until today. I stumbled across this hilarious image and just had to share it with you all. I mean, who doesn't want a Christmas tree that doubles as a writing utensil?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "How in the world did someone come up with this idea?" Trust me, I have no clue. But that's the beauty of it. This totally random and quirky Christmas tree is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face.

Not only is it unique, but it's also practical. Just imagine all the times you've needed to jot down a quick note during the holiday season, but couldn't find a pen. Well, with this tree, you'll never have that problem again. It's like a two-for-one deal.

And let's be real, who wants a boring old green Christmas tree anyways? Spice it up with this funky pen-tree and you're sure to be the talk of the town.

But I know what you're thinking. "How do I make this amazing Christmas tree pen for myself?" Well, fret not my friends. I've got you covered with a step-by-step guide on how to create your very own tree pen.

How to Make a Christmas Tree Pen

Materials Needed:

  • Green pens (about 20-30 depending on the size of your tree)
  • Green floral wire
  • Styrofoam cone (size of your choice)
  • Tree topper (optional)

Step 1:

Take one of your green pens and remove the cap and the ink tube. Repeat this step with all of your pens.

Step 2:

Using wire cutters, cut your green floral wire into small pieces (about 1 inch long).

Step 3:

Stick one of your wire pieces into the hollow part of your pen where the ink tube used to be. Repeat this step with all of your pens.

Step 4:

Insert the pens into the styrofoam cone, starting at the bottom and working your way up. Make sure the wire pieces are secured in the cone.

Step 5:

Continue adding the pens until the entire cone is covered. You may need to use some hot glue to secure the pens in place.

Step 6:

Add your tree topper (if desired).

And voila! You now have your very own Christmas tree pen. It may seem a little tedious, but trust me, the end result is totally worth it.

Now, some of you may be thinking, "But why stop at just a pen-tree? Why not make a whole set of office supply themed decorations?" And you know what, I think you're onto something.

Imagine a stapler ornament, or a paperclip wreath. The possibilities are endless. And if you're feeling really adventurous, you could even create a giant paperclip sculpture. The sky's the limit, folks.

In conclusion, don't be afraid to get a little quirky with your holiday decorations this year. Who knows, you may end up starting a new trend. And if all else fails, at least you'll have a functioning pen-tree.

Tips:

  • Try using pens of different shades of green to add dimension to your tree.
  • If you're having trouble finding a styrofoam cone, try using a foam floral cone instead.
  • Get creative with your tree topper. You could use anything from a star to a mini office supply.
  • If you accidentally break a pen while inserting it into the cone, keep the cap and wire piece. You can still use them for other parts of the tree.

So go forth and create, my friends. And don't forget to share your unique decorations with the world. Happy holidays!
