How To Draw Easy Sketches

Hey there, my fellow art enthusiasts! I stumbled upon something awesome that I just gotta share with y'all! I found this amazing pencil drawing that gave me a lot of ideas that I'm sure you'll all love. It's so easy to follow! So I sifted through my collection and found this gem. It's just what you need to get those juices flowing!

Pencil Drawing

Just look at that pencil work! The lines are smooth and the shading is spot on! Whoever drew this must be a master of their trade. But don't let that discourage you, dear readers! I promise you even a beginner can attempt this.

But before we dive into it, let me give you some tips to make this journey smoother. First and foremost, get yourself a good quality pencil set. You want to have a variety of lead hardness so that you can control your strokes. The harder the lead, the lighter the lines and vice versa. My personal favourite is the Staedtler Mars Lumograph set. Go ahead, treat yourself. You won't regret it!

Next, practice your lines. You can never go wrong with making objectives lines and using circles as your base. Yeah, yeah I know you might be thinking that it's basic. But believe me, basics are what make a masterpiece! Remember, practice makes perfect!

Now that we have our materials and basic skills in check, let's move on shall We? First thing's first, let us start with a simple outline. Draw the main shape of your subject, in this case, it's an ear. Keep it light and don't worry about the details just yet.

Once you're satisfied with the outline, start shading it in. Remember that shading is what gives a drawing depth and life. The trick to shading is to imagine where the light source is coming from. You want to have the darkest shade on the opposite side of your light source and the lightest shade on the closest part.

After that, start adding details. This is where the fun begins! Add in the creases and details in the ear. Don't be afraid to go overboard. Pencils are very forgiving so if you make a mistake, just erase and start again. That's the beauty of traditional art.

Keep going until you're satisfied with your work. You'll be surprised at how much you can accomplish once you immerse yourself in it. Don't forget to take a break once in a while, too. Relax your mind and come back to it with a fresh set of eyes.

There you have it folks! I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial as much as I did. What better way to destress than to create some art, right? So grab your pencil, get your creative juices flowing, and don't forget to have fun!

How to:

  1. Start with a simple outline
  2. Shade in the outline to add life and depth
  3. Add in details, such as creases
  4. Keep going until you're satisfied
  5. Remember to take a break

Finally, I hope you enjoyed these tips and tricks for pencil shading. With enough practice and patience, you'll be amazed at how much you can achieve. Just never forget to have fun, okay?

Until next time, Happy Drawing!
